2017 Summer Day Camp

Summer Day Camp has been scheduled for children 6-12 years of age beginning Wednesday, June 21, 2017 and ending on Friday, August 4, 2017, Monday-Friday, 9am-3pm. The Village of Cass City Parks and Recreation will provide materials for children attending this program, but please have your child bring a painting shirt. The schedule will include field trips, pool days, crafts, guest speakers, sports, games, music and reading time. This program promises to be an exciting summer activity for all the children who attend. A breakfast and lunch program is also available.  Breakfast will be served at the elementary school cafeteria at 8:30am.  There will be a Day Camp counselor there to walk with the children to the Day Camp Building. Lunch will be served at 11:30am at the elementary school cafeteria as well.

In observance of the 4th of July holiday, the Cass City Summer Day Camp will be closed Friday, June 30 through Tuesday, July 4, 2017.  Day Camp will resume on Wednesday, July 5, 2017.

Summer Day Camp Fees:

Village Resident: Cost per child - $12.00 per day or $250.00 for the season

Non-Village Resident: Cost per child - $14.00 per day or $280.00 for the season

There is a $7.00 a day fee charged per child for an early and/or late drop off or pick up.


Field Trips:

The Cass City Summer Day Camp Program has scheduled field trips for the summer of 2017. Registration is required separately for these events and will be an additional cost. Parent/Guardian permission and waiver of liability releases are required for children to participate. Registration forms for the field trips can be filled out and returned with payment to the Day Camp Building. The Day Camp Building is closed during field trips.



The available slots fill up quickly so please register your child as soon as possible. The required registration form, general day camp rules, and emergency medical information form is available on the Village website at http://www.casscity.org or at the Village Office. Payment must be made at the time of sign up. Registration is required for daily and seasonal participation. Once registration is completed, parents will be given the program rules, schedule of events and field trip dates.


Please bring your completed registration form, emergency medical information form, rule form, and payment to the Village Office, 6506 Main St., Cass City, Michigan 48726, Monday-Friday from 8am-4:30pm to register your child/children.
